Seven-day trial
Recurring Stats API plans offered at launch include a seven-day trial unless checkout clearly states otherwise. Cancel in Polar’s hosted customer portal before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Losing access at the end of a canceled trial is not a refund because no subscription charge was collected.
First paid subscription charge
You may request a full refund of the first paid subscription charge within fourteen calendar days after it is collected. Send the request from the account email to kolagames07@gmail.com and include the charge date and plan name. Never send an API key or payment-card details.
We may deny or reduce a discretionary refund where the account has materially consumed the service, violated the Acceptable Use Policy, attempted fraud, or previously received a refund for the same service. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Renewals and plan changes
For an accidental renewal, contact kolagames07@gmail.com within seven calendar days of the renewal charge. We will review account usage and circumstances in good faith. Refunds are not ordinarily provided for partially used billing periods, unused quota, forgotten cancellation, plan downgrades, or charges reported after this window, except where required by law.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund an existing order. A refund also does not necessarily cancel the subscription; use the Polar portal to cancel future renewal.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued through Polar to the original payment method. Polar calculates the associated tax adjustment and may issue full or partial refunds at its own discretion to prevent fraud or chargebacks. Bank and card-network processing times are outside Stats API’s control.
If access was granted for a refunded or revoked order, it may end when the corresponding subscription or benefit is revoked. Chargebacks should be used only after contacting support and giving us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue.
