Responsible automation
Automated clients must honor HTTP status codes and response headers, use bounded retries, and avoid request patterns that degrade service for others. Contact support before a planned migration or backfill that could cause an unusual burst.
Enforcement
Stats API may throttle, suspend, or revoke access needed to contain abuse, security risk, legal exposure, or material source-license violations. Where practical, the production policy will include notice and an appeal path.
